Expos sketch

I was hired to make this loose painting for a client’s documentary about the Montreal Expos.
My client vanished and didn’t pay me, but I got some experience painting ball players smile

Baristas

Here’s another morning doodle while my ceiling is still undergoing repairs.

Thank you to my local coffee shop and their amazing baristas for keeping me sane (and well caffeinated) when I work from home!

newfie home

A contractor is fixing the gaping hope in my ceiling due to a burst pipe.
Here’s a doodle from this morning. Attempting to brush up simplifying my designs and rendering in preparation for the new job I got!

If my Newfoundland family is reading this, I miss you all very much!

My Royal Winter Fair poster was a runner up and will be on display at the fair this week.

I’m still busy working on a kid’s book, and now a kid’s colouring book. More updates soon.

In the Dentist Chair

I got this piece back from the school. I had some fun touching it up in CorelPainter, using the pastel tools.

Tuesday night sketch group

I went to a life drawing session last night, for the first time since school ended.
I’m a bit rusty, but am looking forward to getting back into the swing of things and brushing up on my anatomy.
Here are a couple 5-10 minute poses.

Thanks Ben Navaee Gallery for the free session!
