Swan Song Characters

I’m working on my “grad project” right now. I’m currently designing characters for the novel Swan Song, by Robert McCammon. In the next few weeks, props, animals and environments will be designed as well.

It was extremely hard to pick only 2 main characters, but I ended up going with Roland and Swan. I just finished my turnarounds and am currently working on expression and pose sheets, which should be up by tomorrow.
Enjoy!

Painting the Costumed Model

This was a challenging setup with so many grays. I didn’t notice the stage needed to be adjusted until the final painting session. Whoops!
